A Dialogue on Race Relations

Inviting Montgomery County residents to assemble to have a Dialogue on Race: A community summit. 

The focus of the summit will be to understand what it means to be an African American in Montgomery County today.  In 2011 the Dialogue on Race Committee initiated a process to hold a series of meetings on race and ethnicity. 

Some of the issues raised in the meetings over the past year include, jobs/employment, income, education, racial profiling, “Jim Crow” thoughts and actions, and white privilege.
