Session Topic: Campaign Building & Intermediate Tools
The Business 101 Series has evolved to meet the practical, day-to-day needs of today’s small businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit organizations. This year’s series will focus on hands-on skill development through a three-part workshop series centered on Canva, a powerful and accessible design and marketing tool used by organizations of all sizes. Thank you to our sponsor, Blouse House Creative, for making this series possible.
Participants will move step-by-step from foundational knowledge to more advanced applications, learning how to confidently use both the free and paid versions of Canva for in-house design and marketing needs. Topics will include basic design principles, asset ownership and organization, multi-design projects, brand guide creation, layout best practices, and common design do’s and don’ts for professional use.
This series is designed to be interactive and project-based, allowing attendees to apply what they learn in real time. Those who attend all three sessions will earn a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their commitment to skill development and their ability to apply these tools effectively within their organization.
Business 101 is ideal for business owners, solopreneurs, marketing staff, nonprofits, and anyone looking to strengthen their visual communication while staying engaged with the Chamber community. Whether attending in person or virtually, participants will leave with practical skills, completed projects, and increased confidence in managing their own marketing materials.
