New River Valley Habitat for Humanity Fall Carnival and Ground Breaking Ceremony

The New River Valley Habitat for Humanity will be sponsoring a Fall Carnival and Ground Breaking Ceremony on Saturday, October 20th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  to celebrate the upcoming Homes on Church Street, a seven unit townhome project to be built on the lot across from Blacksburg Presbyterian Church.  There will be food, games, activities, music, and fun for all.  Community members can see the finished house plans, learn how to purchase a home, and discover what volunteers and donors accomplish together.  Come out for pumkin carving, kettle corn, candy apples, and games enjoyed by all.
